The Critical Arts Pedagogy Lab aims to create a space at TFT for conversation, reflection, and action around inclusive teaching. Funded through the UCLA Faculty Forward Initiative and supported by TFT Online and the Dean’s office, the initiative will host workshops and provide a set of tools for educators at TFT and beyond. It includes an online toolkit of resources and occasional workshops and events.

We work from the premise that art and pedagogy are critical, weaving together both meanings of the word. They are critical practices, allowing us to question, analyze, and reframe the worlds around us. And they are critical, vital to the worlds we aspire to make.
